All licensed personnel work a seven-hour, eleven-minute day and are required to have their classrooms open at 7:30 a.m.  Teachers are expected to be in their classrooms or immediate work area for students each day.  This includes prior to the start of school and approximately 6 minutes at the end of the school day.  This availability to students includes staff members who have planning period’s first or sixth hour.  During this time, teachers are expected to be available and accessible to students unless the teacher is required to attend a meeting or a parent conference.  

Teachers are under contract to work a seven-hour, eleven-minute day.  The teacher workday is from 7:25 a.m. until 2:36 p.m.
